I’ve been longing for these shoes for a long time. I’ve heard (almost) nothing but good things about them and more & more of my blogging/twitter friends have been getting them. I even had them on my birthday wishlist. Well yesterday, I was out and about with Ophelia and I stopped at Fleet Feet Sports here in Chicago. They actually had them in my size! It was a sign, I had to get them!! 
I ended up with the Bikilas.
Aren’t they pretty??! I put them as soon as we got back and wore them around the house a bit. I plan on wearing them around a bit this weekend as well Here is what the website has to say about them:

I've seen a lot about them too, and am curious to see if you like them. I asked at Dick's Sporting Goods here and they don't carry them yet…i wanted to try them on too! keep us updated!

just be careful! even just wearing them to work, my feet are TIRED by the end of the day =) works you in a whole new way. I'm glad you got the bikilias, they are much more appropriate for running than the other models
cute! my husband has these and loves them, but he's not a continual runner, and he never uses them to run on pavement. Works great for trails and track though!
I have seen/heard good things but haven't tried them yet. I'm looking forward to reading about what you think of them.

We can be ugly and stupid-looking together because I got some too! Maybe the heat is getting to us!
oh yes they are scarey looking at first! My husband now has 4 pairs of vibrams. He's a true convert. He just got the Bikila's for running and he loves them. Naperville Running company told him they had a 7 page waiting list for them before they were available to the public. I haven't seen anyone but my husband wearing them in public but some people must be!

Mine are coming in this week and I am positively salivating at the chance to run in them! Looking forward to comparing notes on our pretty pink/orange feet
